What are Meetings Like?
Many people struggling with problem behaviors with food find support and understanding in the meetings of Overeaters Anonymous. We meet to find an hour of peace and serenity during a day that may or may not have gone too well. The purpose of the meeting is to renew our experience, strength, and hope in our program of coping with our disorder.

It has become more and more difficult to conduct face-to-face meetings. So, to make it possible to keep in touch and stay connected, Utah Soaring has set up a Zoom meeting room for use. For a quick introduction to participating in a Zoom meeting, download How to Attend a Zoom Meeting. The meeting number for all Zoom meetings is: 410051278 (no spaces).
The password is: oautah (all lower case)
At the regular time for the meeting(s) listed below, go to this Zoom site and log on to share some fellowship and recovery. If your meeting time overlaps with another meeting, please combine meetings, or adjust your meeting times to accommodate your group’s wishes.

Want to Talk to Someone First?
As mentioned, just walking into a meeting could be a difficult step. Please don't be put off. If you would prefer, just call our “Hotline” number, 801-997-0548 text, and talk to a member of Overeaters Anonymous from our area. He or she will be able to answer your questions about the program, tell you what it was like coming into the program, and what it has done for them. They will be familiar with the meetings and will be able to guide you to a meeting that might be helpful to you.
For “Outliers”
Are you an “outlier”? We call someone who’s in an area where there are no face-to-face meetings an “outlier”. The opportunity to interact with others in a meeting environment is an invaluable tool in the program of Overeaters Anonymous. But if there are no meetings in your area or you are not able to attend meetings, what can you do? There is support available both from the Overeaters Anonymous World Service program and from us here in Utah.
